I turned 30 months today!

I'm prepared for any weather
Never trust the SUN as it can be very cold
Always bring an umbrella as it can rain anytime

Alhamdulillah.....we have been blessed with Aisyah for exactly 30 months now. Today is also the first day Aisyah attends Noah Ark Preschool on her own. Actually Ummi has been accompanying her twice a week for the past 4 weeks as she was not 30 months yet . Ummi gradually left her for a longer period of time and dissapeared to the parents' lounge. She's looking forward to attend the school everyday (except Wednesday) to meet her best friend, a 4 year-old girl named Sofea.

Aisyah has also 'graduated' from her toilet training course. The intensive course conducted by Ummi lasted for only 7 days (although it felt like sebulan for Ummi). For the last 2 months, she has been completely dry day and night and need not to be prompted to go to the toilet like in the first 7 days of training.We already said BYE BYE to the nappies as she only wants to wear big girl panties. She can even 'hold it' if we were on a bus or at inconvenient places. Ummi and Abi are very proud of her. We are happy that we chose to delayed toilet training until she is a bit over 2 years old.

She has now become chattier than ever. Imagine the shy Aisyah is now approaching stranger at the supermarket just to say HELLO. She generalises all old men as 'grandpa' and any toddler as 'friend'. She started to ask LOTS of questions....we try our best to provide an answer for all her questions. Some of her questions are:
* What are you doing?
* Where are we going?
* What's the matter?
* Are you all right?
* What does it say? (pointing on anything with letters)

She is also in the process of doing it ALL. She wants to do lots of things that we adult do (e.g. operating camera, folding clothes, washing dishes, typing on the keyboard, make a toast, spreading butter on the toast, stirring the sauce etc). It is hard to say NO to this curious little girl who says...
* I will try.........
* Ummi, I will help.....
* My turn...
* Pleaseeeee.......

That is also the reason why Ummi did not upload many pictures lately. Aisyah will drop everything she is doing when she sees the camera. Suddenly Ummi has become the subject of Aisyah's photography. Noah Ark also has a strict policy not to permit parents to take any photos inside the preschool due to safety reason.

Picture were taken with a mobile phone.

The man in the picture is one of the Specialist Registrars who helped to deliver Aisyah on the 16th April 2004. Ummi did not recognise him without his green surgical gown and cap. Luckily Abi recognised him when we saw him in town.
